Outreach

Our goal at Stronger Than My Father is to build communities of male role models who, through consistent group mentoring, encourage and empower teenage boys to follow their dreams. As our community of boys continues to evolve, it is our responsibility to provide them with opportunities to receive the support they need to grow and the resources they need to be successful.

Stronger Than My Father's Six Core Values.

INTEGRITY – Stronger Son's mentoring program emphasizes integrity as the core value, teaching mentees that being a real man means being honest, reliable, and accountable. Mentees learn that their personal integrity shapes their identity and how they are perceived, highlighting the importance of following through on commitments and taking responsibility for their actions.

RESPONSIBILITY – Mentees are taught to take full responsibility for their actions and choices, shaping their own identity and how they are perceived in the world.

SELF-AWARENESS– Mentees learn to control their emotions and accept responsibility for their actions and consequences.

EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION– is a vital concept in the program as mentees learn coping skills, how to identify triggers, and techniques to control anger in order to reduce the negative consequences they typically face such as conflicts with parents, teachers, and school suspensions.

THE MAN THEY WANT TO BE – Through the Stronger Sons program, mentees are guided to envision their desired future selves, and with the support of the program, they can create a roadmap from their current state to their desired destination, while being held accountable for their progress along the way.
