Hi! I'm Mario Chavez, originally from a small town in northern Jalisco. For the past 5 years, I've called Puerto Vallarta my second home, but Canada has been and will always be my home since 1998. I’m passionate about traveling, and my latest adventure brought me to Puerto Vallarta as the General Manager at the Villa del Palmar Resort, where I had an extraordinary experience meeting incredible people. Before that, I spent time in Jamaica, where I served as General Manager at Karisma Sensatori Resort and discovered the delicious oxtail with beans.

With over 25 years of experience in the hotel and resort industry, I've had the opportunity to work in some amazing places like Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the United States. I’ve held executive and managerial roles at well-known hotel chains, including Club Med, Allegro Resorts, Karisma Resorts, Marriott Hotels, Catalonia Resorts, Villa Group, and Hyatt Trinidad & Tobago.

For the last 4 years, I have focused on digital marketing, helping businesses increase their traffic and profitability through smart use of digital channels. My experience lies in developing websites and mobile applications, creating strong brand recognition, and managing successful marketing campaigns..

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, exercising, and learning something new every day. My daughter Cassidy lights up my life. My true passion is people, and I love finding creative solutions to meet their everyday needs. I’m also committed to supporting local businesses, and I’m always ready to work with you on any project.
